Astrology:Age of Aquarius

My nine year old son has already been initiated into the joys of  online gaming. He’s a big fan of Runscape. With Lord of the Rings Online due to be launched later this year, I see I will have my task cut out for me. Breaking news on virtual worlds.

The fantasy element in all virtual game environments, is suggestive of a strong air/fire component. Daring (fire) to live out your fantasies (air). However there is more to it than this.

Since the mid-seventies astrologers have been harping on about the Age of Aquarius and slowly but surely we are moving towards it. In my opinion, the Age will “officially”  begin when the conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn shift from the element earth, to the element air. For the last 220 years or more, the conjunctions have taken place in the earth signs. The first conjunction in the air series will take place on 21 december 2020. So…… Welcome to Aquarius! But let’s just take a reality check shall we?

First up: Pluto in Capricorn. I just recently found myself studying the horoscope of the Wall Street Crash. At the time when the bottom fell out of the US Stock Market Pluto had just entered Capricorn. There is a firm warning here for those who would invest too much and contribute to the hype in the volatile, virtual world environment. In real terms this is one area where if and when the bubble bursts, heavy “real-life” losses could be incurred. (Don’t forget … you heard this first on astrologie.blogo.nl   :-))

Of course this will not signal the end of the virtual community, only the beginning. For once the axe has fallen and a few heads have rolled,  then steps will be taken to create guidelines and safety nets to properly controle businesses within the virtual world.
