Astro-Blogging 4 Obama:Pluto and the GC

It’s 17.00 CEDT here in Amsterdam and the first post for astro-blogging for Obama has just gone on-line. Astro-Blogging for Obama will present the astrological evidence that supports a Barack Obama win. First Up: Pluto and the Galactic Centre (GC). As a few astrologers have already noted Pluto and the Galactic Centre (GC)were on the midheaven when Barack Obama accepted the Democratic presidential nomination. What seems to have escaped attention though is that the 2008 US solar return chart has the Galactic Centre (GC)and Pluto RISING. What is this telling us? Firstly that Barack Obama’s acceptance of the nomination reflects the current development of the nation as a whole (i.e. the ascendant). It further suggests that his leadership style is finely in tune with the current US evolutionary track. As ever, we are guided. The MC/Asc link also points out that Barack Obama will deliver the goods and bring the change he promises to the US. A Barack Obama presidency will positively transform the impact of Pluto in Capricorn’s opposition to the US Cancer planets. These are difficult transits and need careful handling. More over this in a future Astro-blogging 4 Obama.

I can’t remember the first time I heard Barack Obama speak but I do remember thinking he was a wild card. To be truly honest – I felt that his racial background would almost certainly knock him out of the election ring. Since then my opinion has changed. Just looking at the delegates at the Democratic Convention warmed my heart. All colours and creeds. Wonderful to see.

I think that Barack Obama is probably a prophet heralding the coming Aquarian Age.  Elizabeth Hathway, DFAstrolS, QHP
