According to the Washington Post – from 09.00 yesterday, people were getting the message that the social networking sites, Twitter and Facebook were down. Just a few short hours after the lunar eclipse in Leo/Aquarius – millions of twitterers (for want of a better word) found themselves unable to ’tweet’. The horoscope set for Washington:
During a lunar eclipse – the Sun – effectively takes out the Moon. At this point in the cycle of Earth, Sun, Moon, the Sun (consciousness, self awareness, creative and rational self) is the stronger of the two planets. In mundane astrology, the Moon is about people and in Aquarius the idea of connecting, communicating and sharing, is highlighted. So the disappearance of the social networking sites Twitter and Facebook in effect forced people (the Moon) to spend some time keeping their thoughts to themselves (the Sun in Leo) for a couple of hours.
In a previous article this week, I wrote about computer hacking in relation to the Saturn/Uranus opposition. Here we have it again. It would have taken a well co-ordinated group of hackers quite some time, energy and skill to bring these social networking sites down. So the skill is out there. Sun in Leo – think BIG. Who could be behind this? A powerful governement? An authoritative state? China – again?? Your guess is as good as mine. Note though how Mars in Gemini (malicious technology) breaches the midheaven in this chart, closely squaring Saturn in Virgo perched on the ascendant. What strange and mischievious minds are out there….
