Astrologers in Action: Ebola Benefit Amsterdam
The recent BBC documentary ‘On the Frontline’, gave an ‘up close’ view of the work of Dr. Javid Abdelmoneim (of Artsen Zonder Grenzen) in Kailahun in Sierra Leone. The hand held camera gave a shocking, intimate perspective on the way the virus Ebola goes about doing its deadly work: the suddenness with which life is snatched away from young and old alike; the lonely death devoid of human contact. Yet the program also showed the amazing resilience and positive attitude of the people of Sierra Leone – whereby avoiding depicting them as victims rather as a strong people worthy of respect.

On Sunday 14 december, Faye Cossar, Zelda Hall, Dorien de Vries, Elizabeth Hathway, are organizing a benefit for ‘Artsen Zonder Grenzen;.
Liz, Faye en Dorien are astrologers, Zelda is a psycho-therapist. We are all going to repeat a recent lecture which you might have missed. Grab the chance. The lectures in the morning will be in English – the lectures in the afternoon will be in Dutch.
Preliminary program:
10.30: Elizabeth Hathway: Pluto in Capricorn and the revival of astrological magic
A personal journey, exploring the long standing relationship between sympathetic magic and astrology.
11.30: Zelda Hall: Dreams and Destiny- what our dreams can tell us about the path of the soul. Many of us have had a dream in our childhood which was so powerful we never forgot it. Either it occurred once or it came back many times-perhaps even up to this day. Zelda will talk about the special significance of such dreams in our lives and how they relate to our ‘life myth’.
12.30 – 13.45 Lunch
13.45- 14.45: Faye Cossar: De Maan is niet de enige moeder
14.45- 15.45: Dorien de Vries: Wat is astrologie en wat kun je er nu mee ?
We will close the afternoon with tea (and wine?) and an open discussion over Ebola with the relevant horoscopes for the virus, Sierra Leone, and Artsen Zonder Grenzen.
