Having been offline due to KPN’s internet problems earlier in the week, I was surprised to find that I had received post for number 48. The next day I received post for 4b. The day after that I accosted the postman. “Hey. Do you always deliver the post or are you the new guy?” He assured me he was the regular postman. “Well, can you read or what?” He apologised. I made him look at the house numbers. “I hope none of my mail has gone astray” I said, as a parting shot.
On my way out a few hours later, I noticed an envelop from the ABN/AMRO laying on the pavement. It was addressed to number 14 !
