The Astrology of Jon Favreau

Just recently,post election, the identity of Barack Obama’s script writer, Jon Favreau, was revealed.  Favreau (6 June 1981, North Reading, MA, time unknown) is the youngest script writer ever to have written an inaugural address. However, quite how unique and important Favreau’s role is, only becomes clear when you look at a tri-wheel. So let’s take a look at the three charts with: US inner wheel; Barack Obama middle wheel;Jon Favreau outer wheel.

Favreau has his North Node, conjunct with Barack Obama’s Mercury. Obama has said of Favreau…”it is as if he is able to read my thoughts”. Favreau’s gift comes through the universality and broad significane of the North Node. Favreau was able to translate the President’s thoughts into a broad framework, which also had the capacity to attract a whole new young generation to the polling booth. Some people even say that Mr. Favreau channels the Obama message.

There is a triple Venus conjunction in play here. All three characters in this play, have Venus closely conjunct in Cancer. There is a warm, sentimental, fertile shared bond here anyway, but Favreau’s Mercury also in the picture, is able to express this connectedness in words. Getting the message accross. Mercury is incidentally ruler of Favreau Gemini Sun.

The last aspect that I find really and I do mean really significant, is between Favreau’s Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Libra and the US midheaven. The Jupiter/SAturn conjunction in 1981 was what we call a maverick conjunction. The conjunction of Jupiter/SAturn occur for approx. 240 years within the same element. We are still at the moment involved in the last stages of the earth series of conjunctions. The grand mutation- i.e. the conjunction that will mark the definite move into air series, will take place on December 21st 2020. So the 1981 was a one off and Favreau just happened to have been born under it. This conjunction in Favreau’s horoscope, linked to the US midheaven (i.e. the country’s role in the world), and in close square to Venus, suggests that Favreau was destined to be a major player at this juncture in US history.

Clearly Jon Favreau has great vision. He is running way ahead of the pack. He has already left a decisive mark on the future. The speeches he composed together with Barack Obama, will surely go down in history as some of the most inspiring messages ever written.
