Gordon Brown’s Fate & the Labour Party

Part I: When Tony Blair become Prime Minister in 1997, Jupiter was in Aquarius. This just happens to be the same sign as the Moon and Mars in the horoscope for the British Labour Party (27 February 1900, 12.00 London). Tony Blair’s message was distinctly Jupiterian. “Things are going to get better” he said. And the Party was eager and willing to believe him. Horoscope of the Labour Party.

Once again Jupiter is in Aquarius but now cheery Blair has been replaced by dour faced Gordon Brown. It has to be said, Gordon Brown’s features lend themselves easier towards Shakespearean tragedy or farce than towards humor or optimism. Gordon Brown “feels” distinctly Saturnal. This might of course have something to do with the fact that transit Saturn is currently in opposition to the ruler of Gordon Brown’s horoscope, Mars in Pisces. Both Saturn and Mars are traditionally malefic planets, i.e. the nasty bunch. Saturn won’t be finished with Gordon Brown’s Mars until the end of August. After that – it will dissect his Venus. All things considered this will lead to some painful tv moments. Since most political insiders agree, the question is not “will Gordon Brown bite the dust?” but when. One now clearly feels the heavy hand of fate/ Saturn upon him. Having himself orchestrated Tony Blair’s fall, Gordon Brown finds himself waiting for his very own Brutus to politically finish him off.

Tony Blair was born with Saturn conjunct Neptune in Libra and this conjunction was in trine with the Labour Party Pluto in Gemini and Labour Pary Mars in Aquarius. Tony Blair brought new vision and new life to his Party and the Party members loved him for it. He was the saviour – Jupiter, Jupiter, Jupiter. At present Neptune is conjunct Jupiter so… these days optimism shares a plate with disillusionment. And the Labour Party? Well it has suffered historic defeats in both the recent local elections and in the European Elections. In its birth chart we now find secondary progressed Sun in Gemini – slap bang on top of Neptune in the radix chart. This Party desperately needs new ideals and a vision for the future, but with Gordon Brown floundering – they are just getting disintegration. Horoscope Tony Blair:

Gordon Brown is a tragic figure. If only he had called the General Election in 2007 he might have changed his own fate. The fact remains however, that he failed to have the courage to do this. I feel that this was the beginning of the end of his Premiership. Dutch readers – please see the horary I drew at the time. Will Gordon Brown call an early election. Text in Dutch. My conclusion I think is very relevant indeed. Horoscope Gordon Brown:
