Horoscope Eva Gabrielsson: The woman who fought back…

Eva Gabrielsson first met Stieg Larsson at an anti-Vietnam war rally in 1972. The two became a couple, remaining together until Stieg’s untimely death in 2004, which came just a few months after he found a publisher for the first book in the Millenium series. It is ironic that Eva Gabrielsson and Stieg Larsson were both strong supporters of women’s rights, and that they both totally rejected any form of violence against women. It is fair to say that Eva Gabrielsson has taken quite a battering in the last years, by both the Swedish legal system, and Stieg Larsson’s father and brother.  (Stieg Larsson died without leaving a last will and testament, which means that despite their 3o+ year relationship, under Swedish law, Eva had no entitlement to any part of Stieg Larsson’s estate. Stieg’s father and brother inherited everything.) Eva’s own story has just been published this month in French  “Millennium, Stieg & Moi”. Having yesterday looked at the horoscope of Stieg Larsson, it is clear when you look at the horoscope of Eva Gabrielsson, that we are dealing with a relationship which has very strong Pluto themes running through it. In Stieg Larsson’s horoscope – the Sun was conjunct Pluto, in Eva Gabrielsson’s horoscope, the Sun in Scorpio is almost exactly square to Pluto in Leo. So what are Pluto themes actually? Firstly, I would sugest that this is a karmic relationship. There are issues to be dealt with here – surrounding power, powerlessness, brutality, cruelty, unfairness, passion, etc. etc. Pluto‘s search for total transformation compels the chart holder to scour the depths of the human psyche. Gabrielsson  and Larsson were both drawn towards danger – and driven by an inner compulsion which drew them, for example, into a struggle against Nazism and the extreme right in Sweden. It is interesting that if any planet is related specifically to facism, then it is Pluto. Born under the tenacious, fixed sign Scorpio – it is not difficult to see why Ms. Gabrielsson is proving such a tough cookie in her case against the Larsson family. Scorpio’s seldom give in – particularly when they believe their cause is just.

Since both individuals in this relationship would have felt powerful in their own right,  I feel sure that theirs would have been  a complex love affair. There is a strong fixed quality in both horoscopes –  which suggests a locking in to each other and a refusal to let go. Both needed intensity, danger, committment and fearlessness – and in this respect found a worthy partner in the other.

The fact that the drama is still being played out – even after the death of Stieg Larsson – is another clear pointer that Pluto has a strong hand in this affair. It often said that money is power – which is why Pluto has long been associated with multi-nationals and other organizations who wield massive power and influence but whose inner structures and workings are largely  invisible. The enormous sum of money involved in the Stieg Larsson estate  only further implicates Pluto.
