The Triple Conjunction in Aries

As I write – Venus in Aries is almost exactly conjunct with Jupiter. With Mercury in the same degree  – the planets are forming a triple conjunction – with emphasis on the 25th degree of Aries. In his book An Astrological Mandela – Dane Rudhyar interprets the Marc Edmund Jones/ Elsie Wheeler Sabian Symbol for 25 degrees Aries as follows:

THE POSSIBILITY FOR MAN TO GAIN EXPERIENCE AT TWO LEVELS OF BEING
Keynote: The Revelation of New Potentialities

In some unspecified way the symbol is a guarantee that man can operate successfully at two levels of consciousness…… “Be open. Be able and willing to shape your translucent mind in the form revealing spiritual fulfillment. And you will be able to experience life and power on inner as well as outer planes.”
The implied message is one of faith. Men can only truly experience what he deeply believes he can experience.”

Revelation and Faith are both Jupiter principles – as is the idea of life experience. If Jupiter is the grand plan  – our philosophy of life – then Mercury is how we communicate our understanding of it. Add Venus – and we bring in the love of truth. It is difficult not to see an underlying spiritual message in the rare multiple conjunctions in Aries we have been experiencing the last weeks. Aries is the fiery font, the spark that ignites. Alistair Crowley’s Ace of Wands – springs to mind – with its association with will and divine manifestation. There is a phenomenal primordial energy present in this triple fire conjunction.

During the last month we have been given a chance to embark on a journey of self-discovery…  To take an inspirational new road perhaps. On June 4th – Jupiter will leave Aries and enter Taurus. Then the big picture changes – and our philosophy becomes more grounded, practical. I for one am hanging on to the inspiration of Aries… Methinks I still have time to make that change…
