Horoscope Francesco Schettino, Neptune’s kingdom

The following data for  Francesco Schettino, the captain of the stricken cruise ship, the Concordia, looks pretty reliable  (source quoted as being the Public Prosecutor). Francesco Schettino, Nov. 14, 1960, time unknown, Naples, Italy. The horoscope of Francesco Schettino (click on image to enlarge)

The horoscope of Francesco Schettino: Accused of cowardice, neglecting his duty, bad decision making, manslaughter, womanizing, jeopardizing the lives of his passengers and crew.. since the Concordia ran aground there is absolutely nothing left of this man’s reputation. What does the horoscope have to say? Neptune rules the ocean, free floating anxiety, fame and notoriety, mists and fogs, loss of orientation, fantasy, imagination, redemption, etc. etc. Mercury rules communication, deductive ability, perception, ability to put two and two together and come up with the right answer, our wits, whether we have them about us – or not. Mercury is trade – and Schettino’s chosen trade – is that of sea captain. Neptune’s kingdom is submerged,  not visible on the surface. Mercury in the birth chart is almost stationary – just two days after Schettino’s birth it went direct. Mercury is truly caught up here with Neptune having to pass through his realm three times from Oct. 7th 1960. Mercury is further implicated by radix Pluto’s conjunction with the North Node in Virgo.

Horoscope Francesco Schettino: When the Concordia ran aground, transiting Pluto was conjunct Mercury in 7 and 8 degrees Capricorn respectively – in almost exact sextile with Schettino’s radix Mercury/Neptune. Evolution – Pluto style – often means being catapulted, pulverized, dragged screaming through the mill.

Horoscope Francesco Schettino: In Francesco Schettino’s progressed horoscope, the  Sun, Mercury and Jupiter are all currently conjunct with radix Saturn – which is where the big theme of personal responsibility comes into play. It is the main talking point – this man was in charge – and if all the stories are true (bearing in mind how deceptive Neptune can be) – he blew it.
