High Tea and Astrology Update

High Tea and Astrology: There is something very wholesome about good food and astrology. You could say ‘it’s a match made in heaven’. In June I was invited to ‘do astrology’ at an event organised for Dutch author Simone van der Vlugt. It was held in the garden of the publisher’s office on the Herengracht. This – for me – was an opportunity to see Amsterdam from a wholly different perspective. The beautifully restored buildings that spread out along Amsterdam’s canals serve as reminders of the Dutch Golden Age – I felt echoes of that world of wealth and splendour as I walked up the steps and entered into the cool, crystal, marble, mirrored world that serves as home to the publisher.

High Tea and Astrology: A group reading is always different to a single reading. Themes appear – and what this group shares of course – is they are fans of the author. Those fans whose horoscopes I did – resonated strongly with Uranus/Pluto – the author herself being born with these planets conjunct in Virgo. Van der Vlugt writes ’thrillers’ – and thrilling is a term that sits very comfortably with Uranus/Pluto: after all the mid-sixties were exciting years, a roller coaster ride in fact.

High Tea and Astrology: The food for this event – was taken care of by a catering company. I think you will agree… it looks delish (though these i-phone pictures taken before the event started – are a little grainy). Anyway just a reminder that if you are looking to add pepper and spice to a get-together, consider astrology. I can see a maximum of 12 people in a three hour period or can talk on a main topic of interest. For information over rates… email me at: hathway77@hotmail.com
