  Yesterday a boat carrying asylum seekers, sunk off Christmas Island. The vessel was dashed  like a matchstick agains the rocks, while helpless islanders could do little more than throw ropes and life jackets.   The waiting is over, the 2018 World Cup will be held in Russia. England – who thought they had put in a strong bid – ended up with only two votes.  Julian Paul Assange has become a household name. Assange is the founder of Wiki-leaks, a site where leaked official documents are published. On Monday Sept 27th at approx. 16.06, the candidates for the leadership of the Labour Party were told in private who had won the nomination. The Autumn Equinox and the sanitization of the feminine

Yesterday I began preparing my power-point presentation for the Autumn Equinox celebration at the Fertile Ground Studio Amsterdam. An integral part of this is the drawing up of the horoscope for the equinox itself – set of course for Amsterdam. The midheaven for Amsterdam at the time of the Autumn Equinox is at 26 degrees 20 minutes Taurus, which makes Venus the ruler.   Of all the 9/11 memoriums to date, this years  is the most controversial. Though  pastor Terry Jones has (thankfully) called off his proposed Koran burning event, Dutch politician Geert Wilders will not be postponing his speech at an anti-Islam event in New York, on 9/11. Geert will be adding his voice against the building of an islamitisch cultural center some blocks from the New World Trade Center. Such controversies provide certain people with a big stick to beat with. Astrology World Cup: Launch horoscope of the Jubulani Ball

On December 4th 2009 – Adidas launched the ball that would be used at the 2010 World Cup. The ball was named Jubulani – which means rejoice!! What’s in a name you might ask? Anyway players, coaches, commentators and goal keepers in particular are not rejoicing. The ball it seems is highly capricous. After a spectacular concert last night, today the World Cup well and truly kicks off. The official opening ceremony takes places this afternoon at 14.00, in Johannesburg. This is the first time that the “Dark Continent” hosts the World Cup.  However, the days of  Africa touting this name  are clearly drawing to a close, as Bishop Desmond Tutu rightly reminded us last night, Africa  is “The cradle of the World”.
