Uranus in Pisces: Christmas Island Tragedy

Yesterday a boat carrying asylum seekers, sunk off Christmas Island. The vessel was dashed  like a matchstick agains the rocks, while helpless islanders could do little more than throw ropes and life jackets. As for those sailing in her, many of them saw their hopes for a better future lost at sea there. The zodiac sign Pisces has a particular affinity – through its modern ruler Neptune – with the sea. Christmas day, too has a link with Pisces, the fish being the symbol used by early Christians  to identify themselves. Jesus himself was a ‘fisher of men’. Pisces is also connected to the idea of the … Lees verder

Horoscope: World Cup Goes to Russia

The waiting is over, the 2018 World Cup will be held in Russia. England – who thought they had put in a strong bid – ended up with only two votes. Last night on BBC question time, one of the issues debated was  “Did the BBC Panorma program exposing the corruption under some top Fifa officials  influence this decision?” . The program was sent out Monday evening, just a few days before the final vote. There are two horoscopes we need to take into consideration. The first is the horoscope for Fifa itself, the second is for the time … Lees verder

Horoscope Julian Paul Assange, a voice crying in the wilderness?

Julian Paul Assange has become a household name. Assange is the founder of Wiki-leaks, a site where leaked official documents are published. Though we do not have an exact date for the launch of Wikileaks, we do know it was launched sometime in December 2006, when Pluto was at the end of truth loving Sagittarius and conjunct the galactic centre. Perhaps its not such a shock that the site has created such waves. Julian Assange’s birth time is not known, however we do have a birthdate, July 3 1971, Townsville, Australia. The horoscope is set for 12.00, so we … Lees verder

Also known as the Armistice of Compiègne it came into force at 11:00 a.m. Paris time on 11 November 1918 and marked a victory for the Allies and a defeat for Germany, although not formally a surrender. The Miliband Brothers: Politics of Power

On Monday Sept 27th at approx. 16.06, the candidates for the leadership of the Labour Party were told in private who had won the nomination. In the meantime on the conference floor, many political commentators still speculated that David Miliband – the fore runner from the outset of the competition, would win. Finally at 16.52  the cat was let out of the bag. Not David, but younger brother Ed was the winner by a hair’s breadth. Such a defeat at the hands of a brother is the stuff that tragedies are made of. See here: ” ‘That a brother should … Lees verder

The Autumn Equinox and the sanitization of the feminine

Yesterday I began preparing my power-point presentation for the Autumn Equinox celebration at the Fertile Ground Studio Amsterdam. An integral part of this is the drawing up of the horoscope for the equinox itself – set of course for Amsterdam. The midheaven for Amsterdam at the time of the Autumn Equinox is at 26 degrees 20 minutes Taurus, which makes Venus the ruler. Apart from that the midheaven is also conjunct one of the  malefic fixed stars Algol, also known as the gorgon’s head: “the Gorgon’s head, a ghastly sight, deformed and dreadful and a sight of woe” … Lees verder

Geert Wilders, New York: 9/11 – Uranus, Pluto and the centre stage

Of all the 9/11 memoriums to date, this years  is the most controversial. Though  pastor Terry Jones has (thankfully) called off his proposed Koran burning event, Dutch politician Geert Wilders will not be postponing his speech at an anti-Islam event in New York, on 9/11. Geert will be adding his voice against the building of an islamitisch cultural center some blocks from the New World Trade Center. Such controversies provide certain people with a big stick to beat with. It seems however that Geert Wilders publicly condemned the pastor’s plan, which is a little out of character since he himself had planned to burn a … Lees verder

Astrology World Cup: Launch horoscope of the Jubulani Ball

On December 4th 2009 – Adidas launched the ball that would be used at the 2010 World Cup. The ball was named Jubulani – which means rejoice!! What’s in a name you might ask? Anyway players, coaches, commentators and goal keepers in particular are not rejoicing. The ball it seems is highly capricous. Robinho: “Sometimes the ball has a genuine flight and other times it has a mind of its own so it has taken time to adjust and it will take us time still now.”  It has even aquired a nickname “Jumanji” after the Robin Williams … Lees verder

Horoscope: The World Cup, Africa rising..

After a spectacular concert last night, today the World Cup well and truly kicks off. The official opening ceremony takes places this afternoon at 14.00, in Johannesburg. This is the first time that the “Dark Continent” hosts the World Cup.  However, the days of  Africa touting this name  are clearly drawing to a close, as Bishop Desmond Tutu rightly reminded us last night, Africa  is “The cradle of the World”. The horoscope of the World Cup Opening. This is a fantastic opportunity for South Africa. The North Node on the IC in Capricorn,  emphasises the idea of roots, of creation, of birth, while Venus in … Lees verder

Euro Crisis: Will the euro survive? Nostradamus, Pluto and the search for the hidden euro’s

The Euro was introduced to world markets as an accounting currency on January 1st 1999.  This is a significant year, because in August 1999, Europe was the stage for the Grand Cross Eclipse which Nostradamus had written about in the 16th Century. This powerful eclipse (Saturn in Taurus, Mars in Scorpio, Sun in Leo, Moon in Aquarius) was the first to be visible across Europe since the 1920’s. In an article I wrote at the time, published in the journal of the Astrological Association (under published articles), I noted the significance of the introduction of the Euro – though … Lees verder
